These conditions govern access to and use of Martin County Criminal History. Opening a page, reading its content, or submitting a search signifies agreement with every term below. NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website is not affiliated with Martin County, Kentucky, or any federal agency. 1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official checks, or files documents for visitors.

Its guides identify Martin County and Kentucky custodians, including the Martin County Sheriff, Martin Circuit Clerk, Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch, and Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. Kentucky government-record access is governed in part by the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, while centralized criminal-history dissemination is addressed by KRS 17.140 through 17.157. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool must not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct is prohibited and may be criminal. Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry information is provided for public-safety awareness, not vigilantism, blacklisting, or housing discrimination. Kentucky law restricts misuse of registry data, and misconduct directed at a registrant can have criminal consequences.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create background checks, credit reports, or other consumer reports. Our advertising partners and this site do not offer tools designed to evaluate applicants, renters, insurance risk, or creditworthiness. Data from any page or linked tool must not be used to:

  • Set an insurance premium or judge creditworthiness
  • Make a hiring, firing, or other employment decision

  • Decide eligibility for a government benefit, license, or permit
  • Serve any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Any check required for a regulated purpose must be obtained through an appropriate official Kentucky State Police channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA.
